Otto grew up in the Pacific Northwest, spending time in the woods and playing music. He fell in love with carpentry in his late teens and after graduating from college pursued a career in the trades. He developed skills in framing, finishing work, masonry and finish work while working with craftspeople of various specialties.

After a few years with a small building cooperative doing residential remodel, he took a job with Gaspar’s. In the remodeling world he finds the opportunity to transform a physical space into something out of imagination deeply exciting and fulfilling. When not working Otto enjoys making music with friends, playing pinball, and spending time in the woods.
