Julia first became interested in carpentry when she started fixing up her 100 year old Seattle home. After a few big projects, she fell in love with the work and decided to pursue a career as a carpenter. She completed a pre-apprenticeship program and began working in home remodels, learning everything she could from her team of skilled craftsmen.  

She particularly enjoys the wide variety of job duties in remodel carpentry - you might demo a wall one day and install ornate crown moulding the next! Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, foraging for mushrooms, and plotting her next home improvement project.
