Born and raised in Japan, Ruhi has called Seattle home for over a decade. Ruhi graduated as a carpenter from Seattle's Wood Technology Center and got his first carpentry job as an apprentice at Gaspar's. Ruhi discovered his passion for carpentry after getting his first home and wanting to work on it himself. Ruhi decided to pursue carpentry during the pandemic after leaving a career as an electrical engineer at Boeing.
